Several people hit by car in the busy Newark Street near UD – NBC10 Philadelphia

Part of the East Main Street is closed from the intersection of the South Chapel Street, the police said. The traffic is redirected to avoid the area.

The road is expected to remain closed if the Newark Police Department's traffic unit examines what happened.

According to the Aetna pants, Hook and Ladder Company, they were called to support and were informed that several people were hit by a car in East Main Street.

Skyforce10 was over the scene around 6 p.m., where a black barricade could be seen, which locked part of the street and the sidewalk.

This is the second crash in Newark, Delaware, in two days.
