In the highlights of this week we find some of the most exciting stories from Superbooth25 with Publications by Vermona and Moog music.

The highlights this week:

The prototypes can be seen are among the most exciting instruments at Superbooth because they become one of the first to get the feeling of these creative new inventions. Let us catch up with some of the highlights announced this week:

Highlights: Vermona drumding

Vermona presented a new prototype in the form of the drum machine. This unique hybrid instrument combines a simple analog percussion synth voice with a six-track sequencer, a sampler and digital effects. With the workflow you can dial your analog sounds and then save up to 16 examples per project using an SD card.

The sequencer also has some nice creative features such as parameter locks and polymeters as well as the sequencing of level effects. This includes pitch, backward, decay, overdrive and bitcrusher, which makes it possible to create some really expressive rhythm patterns, and you can optimize sounds live.

At first, you may think that one voice limits the skills of the drumding, but you just have to create a sound in this workflow. In this way, create your drum kit piece by piece before you immerse yourself in the really funny part – the sequencing. Overall, this should be an entertaining tool for the creation of sound and tired jams. I also wonder if you can load your own examples via SD card. Ah, the possibilities!

Highlights: Morhor Echon 6

The Echon 6 is the latest prototype of Morphor, a manufacturer based in Belgium who is known for its Eurorack modules in the BBD and Karplus-strong style. With these two concepts in a 6-vo-rack mountain desktop format, the Echon 6 uses the sections for pathogens, quad-glfo and BBD resonator sections to create and manipulate completely analog sounds.

The synthesizer is also multitimbral, so each of the voices is an individual level with its own mono edition, which can be assigned instead of the main annualo -outs. In addition to noise, there are a number of tones that you can send to excite the resonator, including a variable VCO and an external entrance, while a crossfader compensate for the signal between these three sources.

For the design of your sound, the BBD resonator has two filters: one at the entrance level and one in the feedback circuit. In addition, you can adapt the envelope of the pathogen and the Route four LFOs to different mod goals. Overall, the Echon 6 seems to be creative like an exciting instrument, and it sounds wonderful.

As usual, TipTop Audio had a number of new modules that you could present in Superbooth25 in your art and bookla areas. In the innovative art series of polyphonic modules, TipTop added two new members to the family, including the Octolfo 8-Voice LFO and the Multipass 8-Voice multimode filter. Both modules are designed in such a way that they work within the ART system. However, you can also patch modules from other manufacturers and access the versatile functions.

In the meantime, the TipTip bookla series also expanded two strange and crazy new modules: the several functional generator and the triple -envelope follower. Only a few modules record the essence of west coast synthesis, such as the model 248T with a 2 × 16 output voltage and time intervals. In addition, the model offers 230T 230T successor inputs and six resume outputs as well as three pulse outputs for gate and trigger signals.

Every new Moog publication will always have a certain amount of hype, and this was definitely the case with the Moog Messenger. At first glance, it almost looks like the Moog Prodigy with the same look, the color scheme and the key bed. For sound generation, the messenger offers two oscillators with variable shape, a sub-oscillator and a noise zillator with an impressive multimode filter section and two envelopes with which you can shape your sounds.

There is also a 64-step sequencer/arpeggiator, two LFOs and a number of connectivity options, including MIDI-E/A, Gate I/A, CV I/O, o'clock I/O, USB-C as well as expression and sustain ports. In addition, the oscillators have a hybrid wave folding function that is known to Mavis and Labyrinth users.
