Greensburg driver, who was killed on Route 22 at the collision for auto-truck collision

A man from Greensburg was killed in the early Saturday when his car collided with a tipper on Route 22 in Murrysville.

The 71 -year -old Thomas Edward Peer was declared dead, according to Tim Carson, the forensic doctor of Westmoreland County.

The tail type's accident was reported shortly before 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of the Mellon Road.

Peer was the driver and sole resident of a Ford Flex SUV. The driver of the unit, which transported Tri-Achle truck, was not injured, said Carson.

The Murrysville police are examining the crash.

Emergency crews also answered, including Murrysville Medic One and firefighters from Murrysville, Export and White Valley. Units cleared the scene shortly before 6:30 a.m.
