Five accused, including a former guard, in the death of inmates in the Texas crimes prison online

A total of five people – four inmates and a guard – were charged with the death of an inmate in Texas in the prison of Bexar County in San Antonio.

Kens5 reported that Rudy Bueno, 29; Gilbert Suarez, 38; Rodrigo Martinez III, 30; And Gabriel Benjamin Garcia, 41, were charged with murder to the 46th inmate Francisco Bazan. Last week the former deputy of the sheriff was also charged by Bexar County, Clemente Lopez Jr., 20.

Bueno, the youngest indictment, was Bazan's cellmate. The attack seems to have been triggered by a debt of 40 US dollars.

As Crimeonline already reported, prison attendant Lopez was arrested on May 2 because he allowed three inmates, which was accessible to another inmate cell, which, according to Ksat, led to the attack and ultimately to the death of the occupant.

Francisco Bazan was violently attacked after a group of inmates Lopez “instructed the door to open the door in Bazan's cell,” said the affidavit. When Lopez opened the cell, he told the occupants: “Don't do it bad.” The three occupants were then seen by Lopez, who stepped the Basan in the face and smashed his head against the concrete.

“Lopez observed the entire attack outside the prison cell,” says the arrest warrant.

Bazan was no longer reacted to his cell. The attempts by the medical staff to save him were unsuccessful, and he was declared dead in the early morning of April 30th. An autopsy showed that Bazan died of internal bleeding due to a “blunt violence on the upper body” and his death was called murder according to Kens 5.

According to the arrests, the Texas Rangers were informed about two other possible participation of the occupants, but no charges were submitted.
