Ukraine and Hungary pass diplomats according to SpionaSkandal

The Ukraine and Hungary decided to drive two diplomats after mutual allegations of the espionage. The announcement was made by the outside ministers of the two countries, reports IPN.

“Two Hungarian diplomats have to leave our country in the next 48 hours. We are acting in response to the actions of Hungary, based on the principle of mutuality and national interests,” said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in a post in social networks.

“We have shown two Ukrainian spies that worked in the Ukrainian embassy in Budapest under diplomatic cover. Since the war in Ukraine, anti-Hungarian propaganda began,” said Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.

The closures were carried out after the Ukraine Security Service discovered a Hungarian military secret service on May 9 that was involved in spy in western Ukraine. This was the first case of its kind in the history of Ukraine.

Hungarian agents collected data on military defense in the Zakarpattia region in Ukraine, searched for weaknesses and analyzed how the locals could react if Hungarian troops entered the region, said the Kyiv Post.

Two members of the Spy Network were captured by the Ukrainian secret services and confronted with life -friendly and confiscated by property.

In this context, the Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said in a social media post: “The past three years have shown that the war in Ukraine is not only fought on the battlefield but also in the information space. Anti-Hungarian propaganda is often used without a factual basis.”
