Pedestrian in the collision in the Midway District killed in San Diego

A 51-year-old man was hit and killed by a Toyota Camry from 2016 when he crossed the street outside of a crosswalk in the Midway distribution of San Diego, the police said on Saturday.

The officials of the San Diego police authority responded to the 3400 block of the Sports Arena Boulevard on Friday at 10:57 p.m., where they learned that the victim was hit by the Toyota, who was driven by a 22-year-old man when the victim went from the southern lane into the North lane, said the SDPD officer David O'Brien.

The pedestrian entered the path of the Toyota and was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead, the police said.

According to the police, it was found that speed and driving were no factors in this collision under the influence.

The department's traffic department derives the examination of the collision, and everyone with information relating to it was asked to call 858-495-7800 or crime stopper at 888-580-8477.
