In the past few weeks we have seen many iPhone 17 -dummy units, and everyone suggests that the iPhone area of ​​Apple 2025 is noticeable from the current iPhone 16. Videos of Dummy units keep appearing, and although they contain all variations of the same design, they sometimes offer unique or interesting details about the upcoming iPhone 17 lines from Apple. On Tuesday, Appletrack Published a video that compares the rumored iPhone 17 designs with the iPhone 16 series and gives an impression of how the new devices will feel in hand.

For example, the lengthy iPhone 17 Air looks as if it were noticeably thinner than the current iPhone 16 Pro. As a reference, the iPhone 16 Pro is 8.25 mm thick, while the ultra-thin iPhone 17 air has a thickness of 5.5 mm or 5.6 mm.

The video also shows the space and speaker placement on the iPhone 17 Air. Interestingly, it seems that the USB-C connection of the ultra-thin iPhone is not centered. Instead, it is closer to the back of the phone. The iPhone 17 Air also has fewer loudspeaker holes in terms of iPhone 16, which means that Apple probably had to make some compromises with the design.

As for the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the dummies that are included in the video see the iPhone 16 Pro somewhat similar. Apart from the obvious rear “camera stand”, the modeling consist of a back plate and a middle frame, similar to the iPhone 16 Pro.
