John Legend says that it is “shocking” to see Kanye West “properly”,

John Legend shares his thoughts about his former friend and business partner Kanye West.

In a recent sitdown with the Times of London said, legend said that it was “shocking” what became of the once productive artist and mourned the days of friendship and had passion with west in the mid -2000s.

“Back then Kanye was very passionate, very talented, and he not only had great dreams for himself, but also for everyone around him,” recalled the legend. “He had so much optimism, so much creativity. It feels sad, sometimes shocking, to see where he is now.”

In 2004 West saved the gumper-rich music career when he signed the pianist of Grammy-Winng pianist to his Good Music label. Legend was one of the first hand as one of the first artists in the brand.
