Oregon Ducks, Dan Lanning Trending towards Landung 5-star QB

The Oregon Ducks and head coach Dan Lanning hoped to achieve an obligation from elite five-star quarters back Jared Curtis. This did not happen when Curtis decided to play his talents for the Georgia Bulldogs.

After the loss of Curtis, Oregon has another five-star quarters back on his radar.

Enter Ryder Lyons, a quarterback from Folsom, California. He has been a destination for the ducks and for the horn for some time and now they have been behind him with even more aggressiveness.

According to On3 Sports, Lyons in recruitment class 2026 are classified as a quarterback of the recruitment of 2026. He is also number 1 in 10th place in the nation and in the state of California.

At the moment Oregon is good to get Lyons' commitment, although this can change at all times.

Lanning and the ducks are currently gaining an opportunity of 52.5%of Lyons' commitment to On3 sports. At that time there is only another team in running, with the USC Trojans have a 45.6% chance of landing Lyons.

As early as December 2024, Lyons was appointed Gatorade California Football Player of the Year. In the past, Lyons spoke very highly to play for USC and head coach Lincoln Riley.

“USC is at the top of my list. There is a lot to like on USC,” said Lyons. “You have coach Riley. He trained great quarterbacks who won the Heisman Trophy and were designed in NFL design No. 1. He is a great offensive mind and the defense now plays at a different level.”

Oregon can currently run the percentage race, but there is a lot to do. After Lanning was missing Curtis, Lanning Lyons has to give a complete press to divide to ensure that he ends up one of his top quarters back destinations.
