Trump says that India, Pakistan, agrees to disturb the conversations we conveyed

Washington-India and Pakistan agreed on Saturday after weeks of fatal violence in the Kashmir region of an American ceasefire, civil servants said the ceasefire seemed to be short-lived.

Indian civil servants accused Pakistan within a few hours of violating the agreement and said they would return.

The Indian Foreign Minister Vikram Misri told the local media that there were “repeated violations” of the Pakistan agreement – and that India had an “reasonable answer”.

“We ask Pakistan to take suitable steps to fix these violations,” he added.

Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance have been involved in negotiations in the past two days.

Rubio wrote on social media. “I am pleased to agree with the governments of India and Pakistan with an immediate ceasefire and to start discussions about a wide range of topics in a neutral location,” wrote Rubio on X.

The Indian military said on Saturday that “all enemy actions were effectively received and reacted to Pakistan appropriately”. AP

Vance wrote: “Great work from the president's team, especially secretary Rubio” and added: “And my thanks to the leaders of India and Pakistan for their hard work and willingness to get involved in this armistice.”

The tensions between the two countries have escalated in the past few days and sent rockets and drones to areas that have not been hit for decades. Violence began on April 22, after a militant-based militant group found in a tourist-address area, asked for people about their religion and then opened fire, killed 25 tourists and a local Muslim and injured 20 more.

The attack was carried out while Vance India visited his wife Second Lady Usha Vance and tried to improve trade relationships with the US ally.
