Bears Receiver Luther Burden III. From potential injuries

One of the dangers of a Minicamp are injuries, even if contacts have not undergone exercises like the bears in the Rookie Minicamp.

On Saturday during a training session in day 2, the Wide Receiver Luther Burden II went to the lawn after having followed a deep pass during the seven-against-seven work behind the test player Bryan Addison from Ucla and Cornerback Zah Frazier. He got up after the injury and moved.

“I will postpone all questions about injuries to Coach (Ben Johnson),” said offensive coordinator Declan Doyle after training. “So he will answer them. He will have a better feeling for it than I do.”

Johnson is not planned to talk to the media again in the Rookie Minicamp. The next time he is available, it will be after you started voluntary fully quades with organized team activities in the week of May 20.

You still have a training session on Sunday in Rookie Minicamp, whereby the special team coordinator Richard Hightower was talking.

Burden, the second choice in the second round, had a second practice overall. He had declined on a shorter route near the sidelines after he had created separation.

He had a deep catch and was also used by Hightower at the Punt return practice.

The injury did not seem to be serious and it was suitable by a coach on the side after he had gotten up. At that time it seemed to be an upper body injury when he set his middle part. He did not return in the last games in non -contact work.

“He is an explosive alley,” said Doyle after training. “He is really exciting. His band was really impressive in college.

“He is a playmaker and when the ball is in his hands, he was one of the best people we rated in this process.”
