The United States is recognized for India-Pakistan Ceasefire, but this Trump armistice may not be able to announce permanent peace

The conflict in India-Pakistan took a dramatic turn and placed the nuclear armed neighbors into a dangerous spiral of tit-for-tat strikes.

Then US President Donald Trump said on Saturday out of the blue that the United States conveyed an end to the fights.

On his social platform of his truth, he was surprised that India and Pakistan had agreed to a “complete and immediate” ceasefire – all the more unexpected when Vice President JD Vance insisted that the conflict was “basically none of our business”.

This was already an emotionally charged conflict, which was triggered by the shocking terrorist attack in Indian cashmere in the past month-in the last month, mainly in 26 people, mainly tourists, were shot by raging men.

In order to make things worse, Pakistan claimed in the following Indian air raids that five Indian air weapon jets had shot down in a stinging blow for the Indian military.

Indian officials have rejected all losses, but the evidence obtained from CNN indicates that some planes have been canceled.

Nevertheless, the escalating attacks seem to concentrate deep in Washington deep in the Indian and Pakistani area, which clearly put both sides under pressure.

In a statement, US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio said that he and Vance had spoken to the political and military leadership in India and Pakistan to agree before the situation worsened.

Just a few hours before the ceasefire announced, India had hit Pakistani military bases, which caused an angry retaliation of Pakistan, which created rockets, artillery and drone attacks on dozens of locations in India and produced growing nationalist demands for retaliation.

There are contradictory reports about how the ceasefire was negotiated. While Islamabad praised the US participation, Neu -Delhi played it down -wanted to represent the armistice as a victory and say that the neighbors had “worked directly” together on the armistice.

Whatever the US role was exactly, the White House frankly pushed on an open door – it is neither in India or Pakistan's interest that the conflict will continue.

The ceasefire is also exactly the kind of fast business that Trump hoped that he could convey elsewhere, for example in Ukraine, where conflict with Russia has moved on for almost three and a half years.

In comparison, the intensive fights between India and Pakistan seems to be over after only three and a half days.

But this Trump ceasefire cannot announce permanent peace.

Even a few hours after the start of the ceasefire, reports on violations in the form of explosions in Kashmir, which were administered in India, and allegations of ongoing border attacks were created. This can calm down if the ceasefire is rooted.

But there is also a bigger problem: the US ceasefire contract will not be approached by the fundamental complaints that use the decades of dispute over the status of the Kashmir of the Muslim majority, which claims both India and Pakistan and has separatist, independent movement.

The latest confrontation about Kashmir could end, but it will probably return with revenge.
