An Idaho State Police soldier and another driver were injured in a collision in Idaho Falls on Friday evening.

It happened at around 10 p.m. on the Yellowstone Highway and on the Pancheri Drive when the soldier followed a different vehicle than the one with which he collided, says Sgt. Bryan Lovell with the office of the Sheriff of the Bonneville County.

Details about who the soldier followed are unclear and Lovell is not sure what the result was, but both the soldier and the other driver were injured. The soldier was treated and released on site and the other driver was taken to the hospital. Lovell does not know the extent of her injuries.

Further details on the crash are not available, including the effects on traffic and duration of the examination.
