8 injured in the 2-vehicle accident on Friday on the I-90; 1 clever in the Elgin Hospital

Around midnight, the authorities said on Friday that there was a two-vehicle accident west on the Interstate 90 west of the Harmony Road in Mchenry County.

The crash near Milepost 39 meant that seven people were treated and released at the scene. According to Hampshire Fire Protection District and Illinois State Police, a person was taken to a hospital in Elgin.

Preliminary reports show that the crash included a white Infiniti QX56 and a black Toyota Camry, which both traveled west on the left lane. The infinity hit the back of the Camry. The infinity went out of control and, according to the police, rolled onto his roof, which blocked the left lane.

A passenger in the Infiniti was brought to a regional hospital with injuries, said the ISP -Trooper Jason Wilson.

“The two left streets were closed for a short time for the examination and removal of both units,” said Wilson.

The location was released at 1 a.m. The crash is being examined, the police said.
