Anthony Cacace vs. Leigh Wood Full Card results, highlights as Nottingham Hero in the expected 2025 Boxing Clash return

Leigh Wood returns from a 19-month discharge with a weight compared to the in-form-antony Cacacace in the Nottingham Arena.

Wood is for the first time since his breathtaking co-defeat against Mauricio Lara in February 2022 before his revered hometown public. The 36-year-old throat of this defeat with a masterful achievement in an immediate reservoir that made him a double WBA spring master.

A boiling British resentment against Josh Warrington followed in October 2023 in Sheffield. Wood was far down on the cards before turning over the tables and blew up Warrington into a TKO loss of the seventh round.

His performance before the interruption indicated that Wood's time was finished as a 126 pound fighter. But it was rather frustrating injuries than weight struggles that have exhausted him since.

During the meantime, Cacace took the wooden baton to hit a fighter in a fabulous run of late career shape.

The Belfast boxer annoyed the chances to dethrone Joe Cordina in May 2024 in Riyadh and the IBF Super Federweight title. That was on the sub -card for the first meeting between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, and Cacacace apparently developed a taste for combating some of the biggest names of the Great Britain in great night.

Before Daniel Dubois amazed Anthony Joshua in Wembley last September last September, 'The Apache' surpassed a lackluster Warrington to claim another remarkable scalp. Cacace's decision to make Warrington meant that he had left the IBF title, so this fight is not one of the main belts.

The slightly respected IBO belt is on the line, but this is still an encounter with danger. A defeat in this phase of a person's career could accelerate the end, while an impressive victory would open more big nights for wood or kakace – two uncompromising survivors of who led the hard path into this stage.
