Silverstein announces a new album 'Pink Moon' that drops explosive video for “negative space”

After the publication of antibloom, the revered rock group Silverstein returns with Pink Moon: the second chapter in her ambitious 16-song double album, which was designed and recorded during a transformative route in the high desert of Joshua Tree. The album, which is to be released on September 12 on UNFD.

Together with the announcement, Lead single and music video “Negative Space” comes and offers fans their first insight into Pink Moon. After the anti -Bloom celebrated by the criticism, this new track continues to press everything: the chaos, the emotions, the dynamic contrast. With its relentless pace, changing moods and a massive hook, it captures the disorienting feeling of the equipment just to land in a crushed collapse. The video, a surreal and rude continuation of the fan favorite “Don't let me get to low”, was shot in Las Vegas in guerrilla style and delivers on every level. “I think the coolest thing about the 'negative space' is how I feel from the balance. It is almost too fast, so it always tries to catch up. In combination with the fact that it always changes and uses contrasting tones, it ensures really interesting 3 minutes,” takes the guitarist Paul Marc Rousseau.

Adds Frontmann Shane: “This song really has everything. Tons of energy, raw strength, a big hook and a massively strong breakdown. I also love the lyrics and photography. Friend Jon Lundin (Point North) and it completes the story that I play a crazy one in the Las Vegas desert.”

The songs on Pink Moon were born from the same sessions as antiblom and were intentionally sequenced and offer a pronounced but complementary listening experience. The band was known for their meticulous attention for the river and emotional pace, the band designed both halves in such a way that they stand for themselves and at the same time told a wider, interconnected story that, like the desert winds they have shaped, ebbated and crashed.

Pink Moon has the only guest appearances for the project with breathtaking contributions from Rodriguez by Dayseker and Cassade Pope votes, which were selected in the middle of the middle when the band felt that they could bring certain songs to a new soundland. The result is a brave and diverse work that expands the dynamic range of Silverstein and at the same time remains true to its emotional core.
