What to see in front of Marvels 'Thunderbolts*'

“Thunderbolts*” is almost just around the corner and only a Heads -up you will want to see a few Marvel projects again beforehand.

“Thunderbolts*”, which will be released on Friday, May 2, on Friday, May 2, in the cinemas, a new team of heroes, which consists exclusively of people who were not really heroes up to this point. Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbor), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) have the quad, all for the mysterious Valentina-Allegra-Defontine, another, another, at one, worked on others or another.

The thing has been a bit ago since we saw some of these characters, and a lot has happened since then. The good news is that you can find all of them now via Disney+ so that catching up should be pretty easy.

Here is what you have to see before “Thunderbolts*” comes to cinemas.

Must

Black widow (2021)

Does black widow have a post-credits scene?

In “Black Widow” we met Yelena Belova and Red Guardian. We get to know your story, family dynamics and motivations. They not only see Yelena and Alexei as a father/daughter unit, but also see how much Natasha Yelena means, a key column for this appearance in the MCU.

This film is probably the most important thing that can be seen in front of “Thunderbolts*” – especially for more context of the memories that Yelena is faced in the film.

Ant-Man and The Wasp (2018)

It was seven years ago that in “Ant-Man and the Wasp” we were introduced for the first time with Ava Starr, alias Ghost. In any case, you will search your memory and try to draw details.

It is easy enough to record your story in the new film, but if you really want to understand who you are and how you get your strength – and really what your powers are – you will want to visit them again before going to the theater.

The Falcon and the Winter soldier (2021)

Is US agent John Walker a good or evil?
Marvel Studios

Yes, an entire series in front of “Thunderbolts*” is a large order. But up to this point John Walker was not in any of the MCU films. “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” introduces him correctly and shows exactly how he was a villain.

There is also a look at his dynamics with Bucky, which is not fully exhibited in “Thunderbolts*”, but is still fun. It also marks the first appearance of Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. We know that it is a lot to get through, but if you may Watch it, maybe you want.

Honorable mention

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)

So far, Valentina has only appeared a handful of paint, and the most revealing appearance came in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. Here we learn exactly who it is, at least officially. This will help you if you try to find out what you may be charged with.

However, if you don't have time to get them, there is a short explaner for you.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Spider-Man Homecoming

This really has no influence on the plot of “Thunderbolts*” if we are honest – at least not in great ways. “Spider-Man: Homecoming” is by chance where we first learned that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) sold the Avengers Tower. “Thunderbolts*” only confirms exactly who went (and apparently that many souvenirs have gone along).

Captain America: The winter soldier

It was a while ago that Bucky Barnes was really a villain – they will learn, as in “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” – but it is important in “Thunderbolts*” to remember that he did some really terrible things as winter soldiers.

We enter into some of them in “Captain America: Civil War”, but “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” really shows how fatal he was for a time and how it really got mixed up with his mind. This is not necessarily a must with regard to the plot, but it is probably one of the best films in the MCU and the valuable visit.
