Anthony Boskovich refers to one of his individual watches who “Who is interested, I'm late” with his scattered numbers and shining hands.

Williamstown, mass. – Purple Cow Watch Co. is ready to keep your watch ticks.

The new shop repairs, recovery and custom builds, including its Purple Valley brand, sells brand names.

Anthony Boskovich is the “One Man Band” that this new company founded in its basement at the end of last year.

“The currently popular belief is that if you have a quartz clock, you simply throw away and that really does not make sense, even if you have paid 50 US dollars or 100 US dollars for this watch. More than half the time you need a new battery or cleaning,” he said and added that the repairs can be inexpensive. “I would hope that people would consider repairing their watches.”

He has always been interested in watches and watches and how they work and is happy to finally work with them.

“I've always been fascinated by watches and watches since I was a child, as my website says, I tried to take a clock apart when I was ten years old and they have always fascinated me.”

Boskovich was a lawyer for civil rights and said every time he won a case, he would reward himself with a watch or a watch. He retired in 2018, took some time to decompress and enjoy retirement, but last year he started to be interested in watches and watches.

“Before I knew it, I look at a full -grown workshop,” he smiled.

He looked at YouTube videos to help him learn more and work on various watch brands.

Boskovich grew up and practiced right in California, but visited the Williams College and really felt here. He returned to Williamstown in 2017 so that the branding “Purple Valley” and “Purple Cow”.

He says the watch industry is booming and he wants to be unique with his business.

“I try to build watches that are unique and distinctive and try to find people with the old world who can still do things as it was done before and use old tools that is fascinating for me,” said Boskovich.

He also loves to restore watches and bring the memories of customers back to life.

“I would like to talk to people and if they give me, 'Hey, look at that, that was my father's Seiko' or 'This was my final gift,” he said, to bring it back, the goal would be.

In America there are only a few craftsmen left who know how to do watches. That is why he advised if you are good with your hands, and how precision, watch production and repair could be a career option.

“If you wanted to learn to be a watchmaker when you are young, you can go to Texas. Rolex will pay for you to go through your 18-month program for awake production,” he said. “After that there is no employment requirement and you will give you free of charge because you need people to work on your product.”
