Golfers move the overall ranking with PR results further up

The Sweet Home Golf Team went back onto the street for his sixth week in a row and produced personal bests for two of the girls.

The Husky boys had a player in the 4A division Top 10 for the second time in recent years that a boy player violated the top ten.

The weather was ripe for the rating for both teams.

Girls PR at Santiam

The girls' team traveled to the Santiam Golf Club in Aumsville, which was organized by the Stayton High School. Sophomore Victoria Victor led the double -digit figures with another personal best with a 99 -year slump.

Junior Isabella Wagner ended a back from Victor with another personal best of Victor. The girls' variety team was rounded off Senior Crimson Ring-Emert with a 109 and a 27th place, and the junior in the first year, Kylie Melkvik (Score 164 and 42nd Place), who played in her first 18-hole match and for the first time at Varsity.

Two junior Varsity girls also went to the discount, with the Junior Avery Temple one of her best rounds of the season with 52, the second overall behind a player from Philomath, who scored 49, 49. Junior Eleanor Larson also had a great day with an 11th place in a field of 28 golfers and a score of 62.

Overall, the university of the university of 13 schools and the junior university took the eighth of nine schools.

Young points at Trysting Tree

The teams of the young and junior -varsity teams traveled to the home of the Oregon State Golf team Trysting Tree in Corvallis.

Tresting is known for its broad open fairways and gusty winds and lightning -fast greens. The wind and the Greens do not disappoint and presented a challenge for all players, whereby only two players broke in the 46 80 field.

Sophomore Trent Harvey, the top seeds of the huskies, shot 86 to place in the top 10 for the second time this year. Senior Easton Perry was close to it with his low score for the year of 90, a top 20 finish.

The return in the second year, Zane Garrett, also shot for the year with a 34th place and even 100.

Senior Gavin Gardner and Sophomore Daniel McCubbins rounded off the university squad with Gardner, around 106 to 41st place and McCubbins with a score of 112. Overall, the boys took the seventh of nine teams.

Four junior uni players took a nine-hole match and took third place Marist Catholic and Cascade.

The newcomer Henry Gainer was with a personal best of 48 and a seventh place. “Henry's piece is quick and he has the potential to do the university team until the end of the season,” said coach Ron Moore.

The return in the second year, Kellen Hartsook, took the 10th overall rank with a score of 51. The newcomers Reid Garrett and Blayne Schuster rounded off the four-man squad with Garrett from 52, good for 14th place and Schuster A 58 to 19th place.

In the future, the boys junior Varsity will play at Diamond Woods on April 29, since the young varsity will be passed from the competition this week to start preparations for districts that will take place on the tokete Golf Club on 12 to May 13th. Both the university and the JV girls should play in Salishan on Monday, April 28th.
