The persecution ends in the accident with Idaho State Police Trooper | Idaho

Idaho Falls – A vehicle persecution in Idaho Falls on Friday evening, May 9, ended with a collision in which an ISP soldier from Idaho State Police (ISP) was involved. The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Yellowstone Highway and the Pancheri Drive.

The persecution began when the soldier tried to stop a vehicle associated with a criminal offense. However, the suspect fled at high speed, and the efforts to stop the vehicle with Spike strips were unsuccessful. During the chase, the ISP -Trooper collided with an unencumbered civilian vehicle at the intersection.

Both the soldier and civil drivers suffered what the authorities believe in minor injuries. The soldier was treated and released at the crime scene, while the civil driver was brought to a local hospital for further evaluation.

The suspicious vehicle has managed to avoid the authorities and remains at large. The Sheriff of the Bonneville County office takes care of the examination of the crash. For further inquiries about the incident, the public is asked to contact the Sheriff's office.

ISP thanked the fact that the injuries did not seem to be life -threatening and that no spectators were damaged during the persecution. Like the standard protocol after persecution in connection with a soldier with persecution, a complete internal review of the incident will carry out.
