Female guardian over “Flings with at least two delays” in the scandal -related prison

A female guard was arrested with delays in a prison affected by scandal due to alleged flings.

The 22-year-old is asked about at least two inappropriate relationships.

It is claimed that the prison officer in a prison in the category -c category – in 1,700 inmates, including robbers and sex offenders.

A state counter -corruption unit is said to have been specified via its activities at HMP Five Wells in Wellingborough, Northants.

One source said: “We talk about sexual relationships. It is assumed that it is involved even more prisoners than the first thinking.”

The guard was asked in a public office for suspected misconduct, and her house was searched by police officers in November.

Bosses in the 253 million pound prison led by G4S have suspended the guard and transferred one of the occupants involved in the case.

She is the second guardian who was recently arrested for flings at HMP Five Wells.

In January, the 29 -year -old prison officer Toni Cole was imprisoned for one year after admitting an inappropriate relationship with an inmate in January 2023.

An independent review of the prison in November showed “some commendable progress and solid foundations for a safer and more targeted prison”.

A spokeswoman for the police in Northamptonshire confirmed the arrest and added: “This is a live examination, and as such we cannot make any further comment at that time.”

A spokeswoman for HMP Five Wells said: “In November, the Northamptonshire police arrested a custody in November for suspected misconduct in a public office.

“It would be inappropriate to continue commenting while researching.”
