Motorcyclist dies when the crash of Kent County

Courtland Township, Mi – A man from Rockford was killed on Saturday afternoon when he drove a motorcycle.

The 30-year-old man drove a motorcycle south on Northland at 2 p.m. on May 10th and the 13 mileage in Courtland Township.

The motorcyclist was declared dead at the crime scene, the police said. The driver of the vehicle, a 32-year-old man from Sparta, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The police did not say if the man was wearing a helmet.

The police believe that speed may have been a factor for the crash. The crash is examined by the Sheriff office of the Kent County.

The Sheriff's office was supported by Crews of the Rockford Department of Public Safety and Algoma Fire Department.
