A 12-year-old boy is dead after a shootout in the West Oak Lane in Philadelphia that the police are investigating as a murder, the authorities said on Saturday.

The police in Philadelphia went to the 1500 block of the East Pastorius Street on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Officials arrived to find a 12-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds. The police took the 12-year-old boy to the hospital, where he was declared dead shortly before 1 p.m.

Inspector DF Pace at the Philadelphia police said that a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old were a music video in a house on East Pastorius Street at the time of the shootout on the upper floor. Pace said at least one adult was down at that time.

The Philadelphia police are still actively examining the incident. Anyone who has information about the recordings is asked to call the Tipline of PPD under 215-686 tips (8477).
