Fillmore gang member arrested due

Fillmore, California several legal authorities throughout the Ventura County, arrested a 23-year-old Fillmore gang member due to drug and firearm violations on Friday at 8:00 a.m., according to the Ventura County's sheriff.

The investigation began in March when Detectives examined the 23-year-old man for illegal weapons activities before he received a search order for his car, his home and himself, according to VCSO.

Detective then contacted the gang member at his place of employment in the Eastman Ave. According to VCSO, a controlled substance, graffiti tools and a loaded semi-automatic pistol found in its possession in VCSO and, according to VCSO, after he had provided the search command.

The 23-year-old was later arrested for the following violations and booked to the detention center before the proceedings:

  • Health and security code § 11370.1 (a) – [Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed with a Firearm]
  • Criminal Code Section 487 (D) (2) – [Grand Theft Firearm]
  • Criminal Code § 25850 (a) – [Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Vehicle]
  • Criminal Code § – [Carrying a Concealed Firearm in Vehicle]
  • Criminal Code § 27545 – [Unlawful Firearm Transfer]
