New details about the last moments of the fatal state of New York aircraft crash unveiled

The investigators have published new details on the last moments of an aircraft crash in the state of New York, in which a family from Massachusetts was killed.

According to a report by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), which was published on Friday, May 9th, Michael Groff – the father and the neurosurgeon, who was in the family's small aircraft last month, stopped just a few moments before the fatal incident.

About a minute later, the controller Michael told the plane that the plane flew too low and that he did not answer. The plane disappeared from the radar visibility at 12:03 p.m. and finally fell in a snow -covered area about 10 miles south of the airport.

The NTSB did not confirm the cause of the crash in the report, but said that all large machines were found within 150 feet of the crash site. The report also found that the weather was cloudy at the time of the crash.

“The wreck was brought back to a secure facility for further examination,” added the NTSB and found that the report has been temporarily and has not yet been completed.

Friends and family of the victims previously talked about the tragedy.

“They were a wonderful family,” said James' father John Santoro, the ap. “The world has lost many very good people who would do a lot of good for the world if they had the opportunity. We are all personally destroyed.”

When he thought about the loss of his son, he added: “The 25 years we had with James were the best years of our lives, and the joy and love he brought us will be enough to last for a lifetime.”
