The suburb of East Point in Atlanta was shaken in summer 2013 by the murder of a beloved community member in the direction of execution.

On July 7, the members of the Fulton County police authority found the 32-year-old police officer Crystal Parker after answering a 911 call of her godmother.

Detective knew that Crystal's work brought her in contact with many people. Could someone be responsible for their brutal shooting with a vendenda? That seemed to be an unlikely conclusion.

“Many people who put Crystal in prison also tried to give them resources so that they don't return to this,” said LGBTQ lawyer Amber Moore.

A love triangle and a suspicious appear

Harrelson told Detective that on July 4th she received a text from Crystal's phone that she would be outside of work if she visited her father in the hospital. When a fixed timeline of the murder was determined, Harrelson found that the news was sent after crystal.

Detectives also found that Crystal's father was not taken to the hospital, but relatives. Who sent the texts? “We were able to suspect that this was most likely the murderer and that the murderer tried to create a smoke screen to somehow,” said Patrick Triplett, who was then at the police department of Fulton County Detective.

The investigators have charged cell phone records for Crystal and their wife. As he was waiting for the data, Detectives from Crystal's brother learned about another woman in her life.

While he was separated from Danielle, Crystal began to see a woman who lived in Polk County, Florida, not far from Crystal's family.

The new girlfriend said Detective that Crystal called her at 6:30 a.m. on the morning of July 4th and that they spoke for a few minutes. She said she knew from Danielle and that Crystal and her wife were during a break.

The girlfriend had a solid alibi for her whereabouts on July 4 and was excluded as a suspect. She said Danielle had jealousy about Crystal's new relationship.

Crystal's girlfriend also announced that Crystal was the breadwinner in her marriage and that Danielle had become a financial outflow, said Triplett.

When the police pulled Crystal's financial documents, they saw that Danielle was the beneficiary of Crystal's insurance policies. They also found that Danielle transferred money from Crystal's account to their own on July 4th.

“Danielle begins to go from this grieving spouse to the top of the suspects,” said Tom Jones, A. WSB TV Senior reporter.

Mobile phone records lift red flags over Danielle Parker

Danielle had claimed to be 20 miles from Crystal's house on July 4, but telephone data put them on the crime scene on the day on which Crystal was murdered.

The telephone records also showed that text messages were sent at home in the hospital from Lithia Springs near Crystal's father near Danielle's mother.

On July 9, Detectives received an arrest warrant against Danielle and a search command for her mother's house. In the residence you have opened Crystal's wallet and cell phone as well as a ball-caliber ball, said Rucker.

“We believe that Crystal has a new love interest in her life that has angry Danielle Parker,” said Triplett. “Danielle has rely financially and emotionally on Crystal, and she saw it to the end.”

After the arrest of Danielle on July 9, her computer search history revealed that she had looked up how to deal with a police interview and how to pass a lie detector test.

Her browser history showed that she was “a cold -blooded murderer”, said Triplett. The public prosecutor pushed for the death penalty.

The jury for the procedure began in November 2014. Danielle finally concluded a contract with the public prosecutor to take the death penalty off the table.

On November 5th, she guilty of Crystal's murder and other charges, including guns. She received a lifelong prison sentence with the possibility of probation.
