Burbank crash: Box Truck is on fire, examinations underway

Details are still unclear, but a fiery crash occurred on Saturday afternoon in the southwestern suburbs.

What we know:

Photos that were posted by Arab Chicago on the social media show a box truck that has completely devoured in flames with another vehicle behind it. It seems that the vehicle fell into the back of the truck, although this is not confirmed by any police authority.

The incident occurred near the intersection of the 87th Street and the Cicero Avenue, which is located directly along the borders of Burank, the hometown and in Chicago in Scottsdale.

Firefighters reacted to the scene and deleted the fire.

The police authority of the hometown posted on Facebook and said: “Strong traffic in the Cicero and 87th St area due to car accidents/fire. Select alternative routes and please drive slowly on our side streets.”
