Watchers observe how Phillies with six runs are 1-0 in the lead of 7: 1

The loss was only the third in the last 11 games for the Guardians. The Phillies won 10 of their last 13 games.

Until the Phillies broke out six runs with two outs in eighth, they had a slim 1-0 lead against Bibee and the Guardians for seven tense innings.

One run came in the fourth off the Bat of Kyle Schwarber, who has followed the Guardian/Indians since the World Series 2016.

The basic hit expanded Schwarber's on-base series to 45 games in a row until September. He has been tied to the quarterly base series of a Phillies player since 1900.

Bibee (3-3, 3.80) withdrew the first 10 men with whom Treea Turner bounced off a one-out single-second-baseman Wilson. Harper doubled the wall in the left field to send gymnast to third place.

The first Baseman Kyle Manzardo played a nice game for the second one by grabbing the photographer's box at the other end of the Phillie's shelter to withdraw Nick Castellanos to a bad pop.

However, Bibee could not come to Schwarber. He had him 0-2 in the count, when Schwarber a ball in the short left field muscle to achieve gymnast for a 1-0 lead.

“He achieved the base in 45 games in a row, so he will have a few hits,” said Bibee. “You hit some balls hard tonight. That is just baseball.”

The guards could do nothing against Suarez (1-0, 5.91). This was Suarez's second start to the season after opening the year on the injured list with a stiff back.

In his first start on May 4, Suarez allowed seven runs with seven goals in 3 2/3 innings against Arizona. This version of Suarez was nowhere to be found on Saturday evening.

Suarez crossed a line -up that achieved 32 runs in the last four games. Carlos Santana opened the second with a single, but was deleted on a double game Grounder by Manzardo. Wilson met in the third left, but was forced in second place. Jose Ramirez hit the left with a seventh.

That was the extent of the damage.

Suarez, between Wilson's single in the third and Ramirez 'single in the seventh, 12 withdrew in a row. After Ramirez was secured, he stole second place after he was picked up first. The Phillies challenged themselves, but the secure call of the second base referee Brian Walsh stood after a long review.

But even that could not get the guard's offensive when Suarez Manzardo hit to end the inning.

“Suarez was really good this evening,” said manager Stephen Vogt. “I also thought we weren't great offensive. It was difficult to get something going.

“We had to be better offensive to win this game.”

Bibee, when he allowed a run, gave up five goals, did not go dough and excluded three in 96 parking spaces.

“My cutter and my slider were my bread and butter,” said Bibee. “It held them from the sink and the four-sea painter (fast ball).”

Suarez kept the guards over seven inning goals. He struck five, went one and allowed three goals in 82 parking spaces.

“He threw many strikes on the bottom of the zone and that led too much chase (wings and missing),” said Vogt.

The Phillies dropped the hammer in eighth place. Jakob Junis made Bibee easier and pulled the first two batteries back with which Turner won. Vogt called to left Joey Cantillo with his left Harper and Schwarber because of bats.

Harper met a 1-0 place for a Homer with two runs and a 3-0 lead. Schwarber followed with a single when the Inning for Cantillo got out of control.

Max Kepler added a double with two runs, while Brandon Marsh and Edmundo Sosa, who started the inning with a strike, added RBI singles.

Vogt, with the game out of reach, let Cantillo be finished. He allowed five runs with seven goals in 1 1/3 Innerings when his era jumped from 1.96 to 4.12.

“You just jumped Joey,” said Vogt. “He made Harper the mistake and it happened quickly. There was a little lack of execution.

“We saw that Joey was really good. Tonight wasn't his night.”

Santana's victim flying in the ninth prevented the guards from being excluded. The victim fly gave Santana 1,100 RBI for his career. He is the sixth active player who does it. He is one of only 18 switch hits in MLB history that can drive in many runs.
