Manchester United Chief Omar Berrada threaten the staff that they could be released if they escape confidential information

The boss of Manchester United, Omar Berrada, warned the staff that they could be released if they continue to exchange confidential information to the media.

Several leaks have taken place in the club in recent years, and Berrada has initiated an investigation to find those responsible.

In an email with 580 words, the 46-year-old issued a formal warning to the employees on Monday and in detail that the unveiling of confidential information is considered “gross misconduct” and can lead to her dismissal.

According to the Guardian, Berrada's e -mail was not positively received by some employees who are concerned about losing their work.

He explained: “Anyone who has disclosed information outside the club violates their confidentiality obligations, and we are very clear that this is regarded as gross misconduct. To protect the club and his colleagues, additional measures are taken to prevent future confidentiality and also identify all those responsible.”
