Reds achieve 10 runs at the first inning of 13: 9 against Astros

Houston (AP) -Elly de la Cruz met a Homer with three runs in Cincinnatis 10 run first inning when the Reds fell on Lance McCullers early and held against the 13: 9 victory against the Houston Astros on Saturday evening.

McCullers (0: 1), who has just started his second start since game 3 of the 2022 World Series, fought with the command. He went the Leadoff Schlagmann Tj Friedl before falling Matt McLain onto the back.

Cruz then hit an opposite field home on the left field to make it 3-0.

McCullers went out two more batteries with one before Tyler Stephenson scored an RBI single. Will Benson followed with an RBI double to do it 5-0 and chase McCullers.

He was replaced by Logan Vanwey, but the red stacked and sent 15 batteries to the plate before Santiago Espinal finally struck to end the inning.

McLain met a Homer with two runs in the third inning to do it 12-1.

As part of six Astros runs, Victor Caratini met a Homer with two runs, who lowered the lead to five. Houston got an RBI single from Jeremy Peña within 12-8 in the fifth. But Cincinnatis Big First Inning was too much for Houston to overcome it because it had lost in six games for the fourth time.

Cincinnati Starter Brady Singer allowed nine goals and seven runs in 2 1/3 Innerings, and Graham Ashcraft (3-3) gave a goal and excluded four in 1 2/3 inning for victory.

Houston's Jose Altuve left the right thigh suspect in the third inning.

De la Cruz 'Homerun, who started in the first goal of Cincinnati.

It is the eighth time since 1969 that the Astros 10 or more runs in an inning and the first time since the Rangers in third place on August 19, 2013, a season in which Houston had lost 111 games, 11 in the third place.

Houston RhP Ronel Blanco (2-3, 4.98 ERA) contradicts RHP Chase Petty (0-1, 34.71) in the series finale of the series.

San Antonio (AP)-Country Music Star Johnny Rodriguez, a popular Mexican-American singer who was best known in the 1970s, as in the 1970s, as she could not get out of my head, “Ridin 'My Thumb to Mexico” and “As Love” has died. He was 73.

According to his daughter Aubry Rodriguez, Rodriguez died of health complications in San Antonio on Friday. She also informed an explanation on social media that he went peacefully and was surrounded by the family.

“Dad was not only a legendary musician whose art touched millions all over the world, but also a deeply beloved husband, father, uncle and brother, whose warmth, humor and compassion for everyone who knew him,” she wrote.

Rodriguez was appointed the most promising male singer at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 1972, and his debut “Introcing Johnny Rodriguez” was nominated for the album of the year in 1973. More than a dozen of his albums and singles landed in the top 10.

Rodriguez later said that his career suffered after excessive drugs and alcohol.

Rodriguez was born in Sabinal, Texas, a small town about 100 kilometers west of San Antonio and about 145 kilometers east of the border between the USA and Mexico.

A Texan jury expressed Rodriguez in 1999 from Murder, about a year after entering Sabinal's house and once shot at a friend he thought he was a burglar. The 26 -year -old Israel Borrego died one day after the shot.

Rodriguez continued to play concerts in South Texas and was included in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007.
