3 shots, 2 dead in edit

Two people were killed and wounded in Edwater early Saturday, the police said.

The three sacrifices a 28-year-old man, a 31-year-old man and a 36-year-old man in the 6300 block of the North Broadway at around 1:20 a.m. when someone fired shots, said the Chicago police.

The 28-year-old man suffered several gunshot wounds on his body and was taken to the St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was declared dead. He was identified as Derrell Givens and lived in the same block, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner office.

The 31-year-old man was taken to the Weiss Memorial Hospital and declared dead after he had suffered a gunshot wound on his chest, the police said. His name was not published.

The 36-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound and was listed in a fair state in the Evanston Hospital.

Blood stains, several mussel sleeves, crumpled crime scene and a fired ball were visible on a sidewalk before a bar on Saturday afternoon. A parked car had a bullet hole in the windshield.

Nobody is in custody and detectives.
