The witness at the crime scene told the responding civil servants that they heard two shots and then went into the bedroom, where they found Julia and Blake, both with gunshot wounds.

The 3-year-old was taken to the nearby Concord Hospital, where he was declared dead. Julia declared emergency staff dead at the scene.

According to an autopsy of the deputy medical examiner Abigail Alexander, the 26-year-old mother and her son both died on the head of individual gunshot wounds. Blake's type of death is considered a murder and Julia's type of death is still pending.

“At this point, the authorities still investigate this as a possible murder and suicide,” added the explanation. “No further information is expected at this point.”
