Burbank crash: The suspect causes a fiery crash with a box truck, while he is south long avenue before the traffic stops near West 79th Street, South Long Avenue

Burank, Ill. (WLS) – A suspect caused a fiery crash with a truck, while on Saturday he had fled from a traffic stop in the southern suburbs.

The incident started around 10:10 a.m. near West 79th Street and the South Long Avenue in Burank, the police said.

A alleged understanding of wool during an investigation of crimes was seen in a Chrysler 300 in a parking lot near the town, said the Burank police. When the police tried to make a traffic stop, the suspect fled at high speed.

The suspect crashed into a panel van in the South Cicero Avenue and let both vehicles catch fire, the police said.

Firefighters deleted the flames and only minor injuries were reported, the police said.

The driver of the Chrysler 300 was taken into custody at the crime scene.

No further information was available because the Burank police continued to investigate.
