Body Camera Video shows the arrest of the man who has brought O'Hare invited weapon on the plane at the airport

Newly published video shows the moment when the Chicago police had a passenger from a flight at O'Hare International Airport in the last month before the start of the O'Hare Airport after the man had brought a loaded weapon on board.

In a police report in Chicago, it shows that the security fear for TSA officers took place at the security control point during a shift change for TSA, where the man entered the terminal.

Besnik Ismajlaj, 53 from St. Charles was charged with an offense in which he had transported a hidden firearm at the airport.

On the day of the incident on April 15, a TSA spokesman said that one of her officials discovered a picture of a firearm during the screening at the security control point 2 at Terminal 1. Before the police were able to confiscate the weapon, Ismajlaj grabbed the pockets within the X -ray machine and gave his flight.

CBS News Chicago learned that TSA agents saw the weapon on the X-ray machine, but the police only alerted the security and on-board of his flight after the passenger was founded.

According to an incident report by the Chicago Police Department, a TSA supervisor informed the officials that the incident happened with a shift change, and Ismajlaj went to the terminal with the pocket in which the weapon was found.

CBS News Chicago contacted the TSA to obtain clarity as to why a shift change would have prevented someone from being taken into custody with a weapon but had not yet heard.

After another traveler made a description of Ismajlaj in the security line, the police were able to track down him to the goal, where he had already climbed his flight.

Police camera film material showed that officials confronted him on the plane and then took him out of the plane with a weapon in his backpack.

When the officials spoke to Ismajlaj on a plane, they asked if he knew why they were there and he told them: “Yes, it is in my pocket,” says the CPD report.

After accompanying him from the plane, the police unpacked his bag and found a loaded Glock 9mm semi -automatic pistol in the front pocket.

The explanation of how Ismajlaj could get on a plane with a weapon leaves at least one aviation expert who was unsatisfied.

“I think it is pretty clear that someone from TSA did not draw attention, because postponement or no, I mean, then they have to pay more attention,” said Robert Mark, a pilot and former air traffic control.

The CPD incident report asked the police from the Cook County State's law firm for improved charges against Ismajlaj, but the application was rejected. He faces an offense when he wears a hidden firearm at an airport. He will be back on trial on June 9th.
