The suspended Asawase NDC executives

Four executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the ASAWASE constituency were suspended after they have made derogatory comments on the president, the party's national executive committee and the nominated Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asokore Mampong.

The people – Murtala Muhammed, Farida Mohammed, Aminu Issah and Salisu Sanusi – are said to have violated their measures against the Code of Conduct of the NDC, which caused quick disciplinary measures through the executive committee of the constituency.

“Such behavior is a direct violation of the party's code of conduct and undermines the unity and discipline, which is essential for our success,” said the constituency secretary in an official publication.

The declaration signed secretary by the constituency and emphasized the need for internal cohesion and respectful commitment when the party worked towards its wider political goals.

“We ask all members to remain respectful and concentrate on the greater goal of driving the vision and mission of the NDC,” added.
