Cole Davies, Jordon Smith Hard Crash in Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City – Cole Davies was brought to a local hospital after a malignant crash with Jordon Smith on Saturday morning.

During the first qualification meeting for 250 West, Davies built during the last round of the Indoor Stadium season of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship over one of the table tops in the rhythm section Eastside Rhythm in the Rice Eccles Stadium. When he rolled the next jump, Smith fell against his bike and his side of Davie's arm and sent the two hard into the dirt. Smith was able to leave under his own power, but did not continue the session.

“I am gratefully relatively good,” said Smith on social media. “I hope Cole is okay, that was just a terrible situation. We were both in quick rounds and I was already a quad (jump) to roll. I rest and will be a season for tonight.”
