Story

The pride and courage played 26 times since the Western New York Flash moved to North Carolina and became courage in 2017. The pride was the better team on June 15, 2024 with more property, shots and shots at the finish, but the game ended with a goalless draw. While they were disappointed with the result, the pride was the first team to take over points in North Carolina in 2024. At the beginning of the season, on May 1st in Orlando Barbra Banda and Ally Watt, a step that was in the game. Banda set up Watt in the first half for the opener and watted the favor a little more than 10 minutes later when the pride rose 2-0. Julie Doyle added a goal shortly before half -time and gave the pride a commanding lead. Emily Sams' her own goal was the only goal for the courage and Banda's second night scored the pride a 4-1 win.

The first game between pride and courage in 2023 was on April 19 in Orlando. The pride took the lead after half-time when Summer Yates used the opening goal, but Denise O'Sullivan equalized in the ninth minute of the injury time in the second half, which led to a 1-1 draw. On June 17th in North Carolina everything was courage. Kerolin and Meredith Speckk gave the hosts a 2-0 lead before having their own goal from Haley McCutcheon scored it 3-0 to North Carolina.

The pride did not appear for the Challenge Cup Content on July 29th in North Carolina and was demolished by the courage. Brittany Ratcliffe and Malia Berkeless gave the hosts a 2-0 half before Frankie Taglieberri scored three, and a late bracket of Haley Hopkins completed the 5-0 result. The pride won at home this year on September 17, 2023. Watt equipped the pride of a great start and scored in the first minute goal. After Adriana supported the first goal, he doubled the lead before half -time. Manaka Matsukubo got a back for the visitors, but it wasn't enough and the pride won 2-1.

The first meeting in 2022 took place on May 18 in North Carolina. The pride had a great start to this game when Sydney Leroux achieved early. Mikayla Cluff doubled the lead with her first professional goal. A late goal by Brianna Pinto got the courage in one, but it wasn't enough when the pride won the 2-1 victory. On September 21, 2022 in the Exploria Stadium, it was the courage that had the better start when Debinha scored in the second minute. The Brazilian then supported Tess Bade in the first half in the injury to double the lead, and later added another one who did the pride for a 3-0 defeat to fail.

The pride and courage were placed in the same division for the NWSL Challenge Cup 2022, so that the teams played twice before the start of the regular season. The first game was on March 26th in North Carolina. Merritt Mathias converted a penalty after Gunny Jonsdottir called a handball in the box and the hosts raised a 1-0 win. The return game in the tournament took place on April 16 in Orlando. The courage started quickly and scored three goals in the first nine minutes. Darian Jenkins scored a bracket to achieve it 3-2, but a late Debinha goal brought the game away and North Carolina won 4: 2.

The teams played three times during the 2021 NWSL season. On May 22nd in North Carolina, gates from Leroux and Alex Morgan gave pride a 2-0 lead in late game. Jessica McDonald met late to withdraw you, but the pride held a 2-1 win. On July 4th in Orlando, Debinha and Havana Solaun-Tore helped the courage with the 2-0 victory. The last game was played on July 31st in North Carolina. Leroux opened the rating, but Brittany Ratcliffe glossed moments later and the teams pulled 1-1.

The two teams were also teamed up in the NWSL Challenge Cup 2021, but only played in this tournament once. No team was able to find the back of the network in this game in a goalless draw.

Similar to the Challenge Cup, the teams were in the same group of autumn series 2020 and met twice. The first was in North Carolina on September 19 and ended with a goalless draw. The second was on October 17th in the Exploria Stadium. Led by a Debinha clip, the courage rose 3-0. But pride came back with goals from Marisa Viggiano, Kristen Edmonds and Ally Haran for an exciting 3-3 draw.

The pride and courage played three times in the 2019 season. The first game was on April 17th in North Carolina. The courage took the lead 1-0 in half time, but scored four times in the second half to win 5-0. They played a second time in Orlando on June 1st. Again it was a dominant performance of courage when the pride fell 3-0. The final meeting this year was another mischief from North Carolina. The pride scored a goal in this, but still fell 6-1.

The teams met three times in 2018, but the results were much closer. On May 23rd in Orlando, Alanna Kennedy and Rachel Hill's gates proudly returned from a 3-1 deficit. But McDonald scored a winner in the 90th minute and the courage won 4: 3. The pride in the last two games of this season went back for three goals, but could not be 3-0 in both competitions.

The pride was 2-0 in the lead, but the courage came back 2-2. It looked on the way to a draw until Kennedy achieved a deceased winner and led the pride to a 3-2 victory.

overview

This season is certainly not the record -breaking start that the pride had last year, but they are still one of the teams that they can beat in the NWSL. The defending champion won her first four games before fell 1-0 against the Washington Spirit in a disappointing performance. It looked like they were seeing their first defeat when they fell 2-0 against Angel City FC, but scored three goals in the last 20 minutes to score all three points.

Unfortunately, the profit did not take long. The pride was followed by the Come-from-behavior victory with a trip through the country to face Portland Thorns. With a long flight and on an artificial lawn, Pride head coach Seb Hines made the team several changes, including the Rookie Zara Chavoshi. Reyna Reyes' goal was the difference because the pride was 1-0 for her second loss of season.

Despite the loss, the pride remains in the first place, which was bound to points, goals, goals and gates with the stream of Kansas City. This is the final of a road trip with two games before returning home to stand in the Inter & Co-Stadium in an excited collision on Friday evening.

The pride is led by Banda with four goals. Marta follows with three goals, McCutcheon has two and watts a goal. The templates were evenly distributed, with Marta, Oihan, Morgan Gautrat and Banda all record you.

The defense was the strong point for most of the season and recorded Shutouts in three of the first four games. The 3-2 victory against Angel City is the only time that pride gave several goals in one game, with the two losses 1-0 results.

There was a question that would start with the goal this evening when the starting goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse left the game in Portland with a head injury. McKinley Crone did well in her place and played almost the entire second half. However, Moorhouse is not in the availability report and is expected to return to the campaign this evening.

The courage is currently in ninth, three points below the last playoff spot. They had a slow start, but have been hot in the past few weeks. It started with a 3-2 victory on April 26 against the current current for her first win of the season. They followed that with a 2-0 win against the Utah Royals on May 3.

Despite firepower with people like Ashley Sanchez and Jaedyn Shaw, the courage has to fight a little offensive and scored eight goals in seven games. They were much better defensive. You gave nine goals this year, but five of them were against the current and NJ/NY Gotham FC, two of the best attack teams in the league.

Sanchez leads the team with two goals this season. Ryan Williams, Kaleigh Kurtz and Riley Jackson each have one. Williams, Speck, O'Sullivan and Matsukubo have been leading the team this season so far, but everyone has only one.

The big concern for the pride that today's game takes place is on the offensive. While they scored the league with 14 goals, six of them came against the Chicago stars every season. In the meantime, they were kept away from the goal in two of the last three games. To demand three points from home, you have to beat one of the best goalkeepers in the league in Casey Murphy.

“Always a difficult place to play historically. It has always been a challenge that North likes to play,” said Hines about today's game. “You have also found a form in the last two games. We also want to go back from our last result, so it's an exciting game.”

The pride is initiated in this game with an unchanged availability report. You remain without Simone Charley (ankle), Luana (illness), Amanda Allen (shoulder), Aryssa Mahrt (knee), Julie Doyle (knee), Rafelle (thigh) and summer Yates (ankle).

The courage will be without Berkeless (leg), Sydney Collins (ankle), Hensley Hancuff (apologized absence) and Olivia Wingate (leg). Bacon (lower body) is classified as questionable.
