Taylor Swift's team blows Justin Baldoni to summons in Blake Lively Case

The team of singer Taylor Swift competed on Saturday in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's “It Ends with Us” after the star had issued a summons in the current legal case. The representatives called it a “boulevard clickbait” movement and made it clear that their connection with the film was limited to “licensing” of a song.

“Taylor Swift never set the set of this film, she was not involved in casting or creative decisions, she did not evaluate the film, never saw an editing or made notes on the film,” said the representatives of Entertainment Weekly in an interview on May 10 that the singer of the “lover” did not even have to watch the film because she didn't even have to watch the film, Because she toured during this time.

“She traveled around the world in 2023 and 2024 and led the biggest tour in history. The connection that Taylor had to this film allowed the use of a song 'My Tears Ricochet',” read on.

The explanation came after Baldoni published a number of screenshots that were attached to his lawsuit as proof that LiveLy got both Swift and her actor -husband Ryan Reynolds in the “Dach” scene in the film. The actor also announced that Lively described her as her “dragon” – an allusion to the loyal dragons in “Game of Thrones”, which protect her drivers violently.

The spokesman said: “In view of the fact that their participation was to licens a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document load was designed in such a way that it used the name of Taylor Swift to arouse the public interest by creating boulevard -clickbait instead of concentrating on the facts of the case.”

The statement was expanded to Swift's team that Baldoni called out because he used her name to obtain public attention for him and his case.

It all started when LIVELY submitted a lawsuit against her co-star of Justin Baldoni, who included claims about an unpleasant rotary experience during an important hospital scene in the film in 2024. Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios countered Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, her publicist and the New York Times, and claimed that they had orchestrated a compression campaign. According to Reuters, Baldoni Lively accused LIVELY of “kidnapping” the film and blaming the guilt when their advertising measures led to public counter reactions.

An attempt in this case is planned for March 2026.
