Tri-County Softball Invitation & Wausau East Soccer

Plainfield, Wisconsin (WSAW) -A sunny day in Plainfield has prepared a perfect time for the Tri -County to organize a softball invitation. Tri-County, Wild Rose, Port Edwards, Adams-Friendship, Nekoosa and Lena/St. Thomas Aquin took part in the celebrations in Veterans Park.

In a couple of his matchups, Wild Rose stayed on the driver's seat against Port Edwards and took the Blackhawks 16-6. At the same time, Tri-County had an early lead against Lena/st. Thomas Aquin, but the wildcats would ultimately take over with a 20-10 victory.

Later in the evening Wausau East was hosting Caucauna. The lumberjacks were looking for their sixth non-conference victory of the year, but left an 11-0 shoutout loss.
