GTA 6 release date, price leak, gameplay, requirements, cards, characters, everything we know so far

After years of speculation and increasing excitement, Rockstar Games has finally confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) will start next year. This is an almost 13-year-old gap since GTA 5 met the first consoles. With two trailers, important details about history, characters, gameplays, map and prices are now public and give fans a much clearer picture of what this blockbuster of the next generation can be expected.

Rockstar initially planned a publication in autumn 2025, but it has now been pushed back to May 26, 2026 to ensure that the game meets the high -quality expectations.

GTA 6 platforms and requirements

GTA 6 is on the PS5 and Xbox series X | S be available. Unfortunately there is no confirmation in a PC version, and it is not published on PS4 or Xbox One, which means that it is exclusively for the current generation consoles.

The game demonstrates two protagonists – Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. Lucia is released from prison in the GTA 6 Trailer 2 and together the two formation of a crime duo that attracts comparisons with Bonnie and Clyde. Rockstar also annoyed other interesting characters such as Cal Hampton (Jason's friend), Boobie Ike (a local vice-city legend) and Dre'quan priests (a music producer).

While Rockstar has not yet shown a full gameplay film material, Leck's new functions such as Stealth Mechanics, in which characters can crawl or bodies. The trailers indicate dynamic action scenes, chase hunts and raids and promises a deeply urgent experience.

The game plays in the fictional state of Leonida, which includes Vice City, and offers a modern, expanded view of the environment in Miami. Rockstar shows us at important locations around the map – grass drivers, Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park – with rural cities, swamps and tropical islands. Lecks and trailer comparisons indicate the largest GTA card to date.

Since Rockstar takes his time, the expectations are sky high. But if early followers and leaks have something to do, GTA 6 could define the open world gaming experience again.
