In the middle of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, a number of Pakistani and Pakistani supporters went to social media over the weekend in order to misrepresent their navy to the port of Bengaluru. In reality, Bengaluru – the capital Karnataka – is at least 300 km from the coast. A screenshot of such a comment was widespread and mocked in Indian social media.

“Bangalore Port was destroyed by the Pakistani Navy,” read a man's comment named Faward Ur Rehman. His comment quickly became a lot of trolling. It comes in the middle of a number of misinformation on social media at a time of the conflict.
