Tribute for Tulsa crash victims who gather in the BC Franklin Park vigil

Families, friends and community members who come together to honor the life of two Tulsa students and two coaches who died in one head on Sunday evening.

“I am so happy that we come together to do the little closure that we can do for something so terrible,” said Stefanie Alexander, Kyrin Schrumpert Gilstrap's English teacher. “I get a message from one of my dancers and she, and she said she said, Kyrin and his father were passed. It was a car accident, and she just couldn't, I mean, we couldn't get anything out, and I told her that it was just a few days before the hema a few days before the father.”

Just like others we talked to, Alexander couldn't believe it when she found out what had happened.

“A lot of pain. A lot of hurt, sadness for the family, friends, the players who played with him this year. Only hurt a lot because this is of course so suddenly. And you never expect something like that,” said Ray Mahone, a friend of Kyrin.

Ray Mahone said he had the opportunity to train Kyrin in 9th grade, and his son was good friends with him.

“Outside of his basketball skill, Kyrin was a special child in the classroom. With regard to respectful, polite.

On May 16, his birthday, there will also be a celebration of life for Kyrin.

Donald “DJ” truck Jr.s funeral takes place on May 11th. Data for the other victims have not yet been published.
