I have a problem with mine attitude. Sure, a big factor is that I spend too much time to scroll my phone or type on my computer, but I also have scoliosis, an abnormal curvature of the spine that beats the basic position of my body. My scoliosis diagnosis is moderate-one of my shoulders is a few degrees higher than the others, and my shoulders automatically integrated-but the feeling is a great murderer, so I constantly remember to withdraw these shoulder blades back to appear less.

Because of my scoliosis I am not a stranger to the idea of High -up correction devices. But I have remained skeptical about their actual advantages (my chiropractor -father agrees!). In addition, they always look cumbersome and uncomfortable, which has no wish to wear them.

However, my curiosity was awakened when the Taylor Swift fans of eagle eyes discovered the pop icons Wear one in a photo of your Eras tour samples. The elegant (and I say chic!) Top became a form of power bra, a posture correction bra supported by the FDA and was allegedly able to improve the alignment of its upper body immediately. It was talked about that I knew that my scoliosis self had to try it out.

My motivation was twice: First, I wanted to channel my inner Taylor Swift – and see if it was able to strengthen my self -confidence – and secondly, I was curious whether it would actually help my apology. Here is what happened.

How I tested

After pulling the bra out of the form team, I tested it in various environments over two months. I carried it to Barre, yoga and strength training in my local gym. I also wore it for a full eight -hour day when I worked from home.

The material

The longline design is made with compression material, which is soft, but not necessarily butter -like and stretchy as with some other training wear marks. This is intended. According to the product list on the website, they consist of “six different voltage substances and eight powerful double factory panels”, which are allegedly working together to train their body for the development of muscle memory. This voltage tissue makes aesthetically grumpy – the outer layer is every color you order (in my case, ECRU, a cream), but the inside of me was black and another fabric and functional, as this was clearly what my shoulder blades supported.

The back has a different fabric – a cooling area that distributed sweat during training. And like most Sports bras, there are no wires or cups.

The fit

In general, due to the lack of nuances, I find sport -bra size. The form bra is available in sizes XS-3XL, but that can be difficult to lay down if everyone has different brass and band sizes. However, I followed the size diagram listed on the Formes website and found that the little one was the right one than 32D for me. This gave me enough support without feeling suffocated.

The feeling

It felt a little tight (and somehow subordinate) with the first wear, but after several wear and laundry I felt more comfortable and got used to the design. As promised, I felt my shoulders withdrawn immediately after wearing and my back was straight. Even during my five-block walk to the gym, I had the feeling that my body was better aligned: shoulders over hips, less forward and less with my neck. The support and orientation were also subtle. I didn't feel that my shoulders were pulled back, but rather gently led to the correct positioning.

The performance

Through several workouts, both alone and within a class environment, I felt that this bra encouraged me to have a better form. Usually I can't look away from the fitness mirror and constantly instructed who tell me that I should roll my shoulders back. It was refreshing that this is not the case. Without this layer of self -confidence, I enjoyed my training more.

Even on the day I worked from home while I was wearing it, I was comfortable and remembered less. Although I had no discomfort during the eight -hour clothing, the next day I definitely felt pain and pain in my shoulders.

What I liked

First of all, this bra is cute! The longline design is modern and fresh, and I felt comfortable when I carried it in my fitness courses. I love it how it comes in a number of different colors. I also appreciated how subtle the pressure support was and how it really withdraw my shoulders in a way that was gently and still effective when wearing. I like that I could immediately notice a difference in the orientation of my body and that my training could enjoy more.

What I didn't like

I wish the lower band was narrower and offered better bra, especially for those with larger cup sizes. It was great for workouts with a low influence, but I would not recommend running in it. I also prefer a sport bra with removable cups and must note that my nipples were often visible due to the material.

One last thing

Although it corrected my attitude when wearing the BH, it does not help in the long term. As soon as the BH fell off, my orientation went back into the usual slump. Accordingly Brandon Hirsch, MDOrthopedic spinal surgeon in the Disc Sports & Spine Center, the spoke with prevention about attitudeCorrect devicesThis is not unusual. As a rule, these bras do not work to create long -lasting improvements, and it is common for posture issues to exist as soon as the use of the posture corrector is set. Did my scoliosis repair it? Unfortunately no.

With regard to the canalization of my inner pop star, however, like my time with the shape power bra, I was a success. It may not have delivered long -lasting results (really just strengthening your muscles and improving your awareness), but while I am wearing it, I couldn't believe how much trust I had. My workouts were not easier per se, but wearing the bra improved my shape drastically and helped me to feel better when I could look at the fitness mirror. Although I am not ready to strut over a stage in glitter shoes, this bra definitely enjoyed my training.

Conclusion: If you are looking for a sports bra, quickly recognized by Taylor, to improve your shape, orientation and self-confidence during training, this bra is a solid option.
