Deadly crash with stolen car recorded on video; Three young people still at large

A stolen car accident with four young people led to the death of a woman after the vehicle collided with several cars on Friday afternoon, the police from Howard County said.

One of the owners of one of the participating cars, Jeffrey Steele, dated Dashcam video with FOX45 messages that recorded the whole thing.

The red sedan, which was identified as a stolen Hyundai from Prince George's County, was seen to see how she accelerated other vehicles and exceeded before falling into a black Honda Civic. The citizen's driver was taken to the hospital, where she later died of her injuries.

“Just when I turned around, someone got through in a red sedan and switched me through,” said Steele.

Then Steele says that the Hyundai cut another car before storming head into a Honda Civic.

Steele tried to help the driver in this citizen.

“Her eyes were open and I saw that she breathed, which initially gave me hope,” said Steele.

However, Howard County's police confirm that the driver of this vehicle died to the hospital after introducing them.

Regan Nelson, a nearby resident who recorded the consequences, expressed a shock when he learned that the crash came from a stolen car.

“Four children who stole a car are just like what's going on,” said Nelson.

The police reported that three of the young people had fled the scene while one was arrested due to injuries in the accident. No fees have been submitted yet.

The incident has triggered claims for accountability from those who saw him.

“They had stolen a car and ruthlessly drove and endangered everyone else on the street. There should be a kind of punishment, and it cannot only be a blow to the wrist.” Said Steele.

“Someone is not here and they are. The consequences are 100 percent enforced. 100 percent,” said Nelson.
