Santiago Moreno scores a goal when Timbers Sporting KC defeated 1-0

Portland, Ore. (Ap) -antiago Moreno scored on Saturday evening in the 10th minute for Portland, Maxime Crépeau had his first failure of the season and the Timbers defeated Sporting Kansas City 1-0.

Crépeau ended with three parades. The 31-year-old started the season as a goalkeeper in Portland, allowed four goals at the start and was injured. James Pantemis took over the starting role, but missed the last two games due to a leg injury.
