The letter asked for peace and added: “Pakistan has always confirmed the holiness of life and the rule of law. The protection of human rights, especially in the storage, is a cornerstone of our democratic framework.”

It also said: “The government deals with relevant human rights committees of the UN and independent observers to ensure a credible and impartial examination.”

Where is Imran Khan?

Imran Khan is currently in the Adiala prison and serves a 14-year prison sentence in a corruption case.

According to the tight members of his party, Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), Khan is almost isolated. They claim that he has no regular access to lawyers or medical care.
