The chase and crash illuminated social media. Members of the Facebook group “Life in Idaho Falls” reported that law enforcement officers had a white vehicle through West Idaho Falls in the direction of the city. At the scene of the crash, the local news 8 Leighton Johnson, who witnessed police cars, met with the reaction.

“When I climbed from work, I drove to the Pancheri bridge and I had a police officer from South Colorado … When I went right, there was another police officer in this left turn,” said Leighton.

“He moves all the way around, builds me up, switches on his lights and accelerates towards the highway. Then I see two other police officers who collapsed from Broadway with bricks per hour.

They pass me and I'm pretty sure they bend in Pancheri. I'm pretty sure you found out [the state trooper] I crashed here, but the highway, I would suspect that you will come through the city center- somehow everything has ended up here.

I just saw, I don't know, maybe six … seven police officers, everyone is going in different ways. Then I went back to Pancheri and saw an ambulance near Skyline. I drove around a little more and found out from my parents that the crash happened here, ”said Leighton.
