Driver, 61, killed in single-car-wreck

A man from Hot Springs Village died on Thursday afternoon in an accident with a single vehicle on the southwestern side of the Hot Spring Village, as can be seen from a preliminary report by the State Police Arkansas.

The 61 -year -old Randell Weaver was killed at 2:05 p.m. when the Hyundai in 2005 left the road near 175 W. Glazypeau Road, struck and overturned before colliding with a goal and a supply rod, the report said.

A soldier who examined the wreck reported that the weather was clear and the road was dry at that time.
