Community Corner: Placerita Canyon Nature Center lifts the annual open house, summer fun

In this segment of the Community Corner from SCVTV, Ron Krauss and Cindy Gold, the board members and committed docents in the Placerita Canyon Nature Center are underlining the largest event of the year: The Annual Open House!

This free, family -friendly event will take place on Saturday, May 10th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It offers the unique opportunity to inform something about the local ecosystem and connect to nature.

From handicrafts and animal demonstrations to a variety of environmental organizations, including a new Zuger this year, the Bonsai Club, the event really has something for everyone.

Ron and Cindy also give us a preview of the summer programs of Nature Center, including the family of the family, books and hikes, Bird Walk, Blooms of the Season Wildflower Walk and much more!
