The 2025 Met Gala was really one for the books. It was not only the record for the most money collected by ticket sales, with a whopping 31 million US dollars, but the topic “Superfine: Tacoring Black Style” set up the bar for fashion and culture.

This year's topic, paired with the dress code “tailor -made for you”, celebrates black dandyism, a cultural movement and fashion practice, in which black fashion and clothing have used to express themselves, to challenge social norms and to defy social restrictions.

The A-List guests were encouraged to bring their interpretation of the movement and show their individuality. While some traditional tailors were wearing, others showed things modern and showed their unique flair.
